Checked Baggage
Standard allowances on Qantas-operated services, before eligible membership benefits:

For infants, up to three eligible infant items may be checked free; children aged 2–11 may bring two eligible child items, subject to conditions.

Overhead bags: 56 × 36 × 23 cm. Underseat bags: 34 × 48 × 23 cm. Include wheels and handles when measuring.
India departures have a one-overhead-bag rule: Economy 7 kg, Business 10 kg, without an extra personal item. For connecting flights, pack to the lowest applicable carry-on allowance.

Extra Bags and Holiday Packing
If you need more baggage, check the airline’s current quote before travelling. Additional, excess and heavy-bag charges depend on your route and entitlement. A 32 kg maximum does not mean every fare includes a 32 kg bag.
